The Ekiti State Government has accused the PDP-led Federal Government of neglecting the state in terms of not properly funding its ongoing projects.

The State Commissioner for Information, Tayo Ekundayo revealed this in Ado Ekiti, while briefing newsmen on the State of Federal Government projects in Ekiti State.

Ekundayo lamented the poor State of Federal and State infrastructure in Ekiti when the present administration assumed office in October 2010.

He said efforts by the Ekiti govt to get the Federal Government to take concrete steps towards completing its projects across the state and initiate new ones have continually failed.

He also said most of the Federal MDAs have continued to demonstrate a lukewarm attitude towards completing their various projects across the State.
     
Also speaking the Commissioner for Integration and Inter-govtal Affairs, Funminiyi Afuye said some of the projects that reflected or written in the Nation's budget do not exist in the Ekiti State.

He lamented the non remittance of over ₦8billion spent by Ekiti State on behalf of the Federal Government on the Ado/Iworoko/Ifaki road project.
