LAUTECH Ownership Tussle May Resolved As Tinubu Become Chancellor
The ownership crisis between osun and Oyo states over the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH, which started during the last administration, hope to settle now that the national leader of the All progressive congress Bola Hammed Tinubu become the chancellor of the institute.
Presently the resident doctors and other workers at osogbo campus of LAUTECH were on indefinite strike due to non-payment of their salaries.
Osun state correspondent, Adeniyi Folorunso reports that the Inauguration of Bola Hammed Tinubu was the gathering of movers and shakers of Nigeria socio-political cum educational landscape.
Speaking at the event Bola Hammed Tinubu Observed the support of the joint owner states Osun and Oyo to the growth and development of the institution, he acknowledged the efforts of the governing council and management staff saying he will do his best to follow the footsteps of those who never made failure their option.
Speaking on the state of the nation, he bemoaned the terror unleashed on the country by Boko Haram insurgences, saying they are wearying war not only on the federal Government, but on entire people in Nigeria.
The event was coincides with 11th special convocation of LAUTECH was preceded by a lecture titled Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Education and Economic development in Nigeria Africa and Diaspora delivered by Dr. Robert M. Franklin of United States American.
