The founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti ,ABUAD, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, has canvassed for total upgrading of Nigeria University System and warned against issuing of new licenses to proprietors who did meet up with requirements.

Babalola gave the advice when a group of well meaning Nigerians led by Senator Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir visited Afe Babalola University in Ado Ekiti.

The legal luminary stressed that there is no point for the federal government to continue given approval to new universities when the existing ones are not well funded.

Also Speaking, Senator Abdullahi Gobir advised Nigerians against travelling abroad in search of quality Education when ABUAD can offer better quality Education.
