Ahead of PDP Convention: Saraki Promises Making History Hopes to Transform Nigeria in 2yrs
With less than thirteen days to the Peoples Democratic Party Convention, Former senate President and Presidential hopeful, Senator Bukola Saraki, has promised to turn the tide facing Nigeria in two years if given the ticket to fly the party's flag in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The former senate president gave the assurance in Makurdi when he visited Governor Samuel Ortom, State party delegates and other critical stakeholders of the party to canvass for Benue support ahead of its convention.
Saraki, who explained that the enormity of issues and challenges confronting Nigeria today ranging from economic, unemployment, and insecurity would not be an easy task to solve in one day but promised to tackle it in two years with his wealth of experience and support of the Benue people for the emergence of north-central presidential candidate.
Governor Samuel Ortom who welcomed him and his entourage described him as a principled and courageous and a true friend of the Benue people who would be able to salvage the challenges facing Nigeria today.
Meanwhile, the state PDP chairman. John Ngbede, assures of him of the support of the Benue people.
