Aisha Buhari returns to Nigeria
Wife of the President Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Aisha Buhari has returned into the country after months of vacation abroad.
Mrs Buhari who arrived at about 4.30 am Nigerian time on a British Airways flight told journalists that she stayed away for so long, to have enough rest.
She said she needed the vacation since she has not taken leave since her husband President Muhammadu Buhari was elected president.
The wife of the president said the vacation was apt and no time wasted especially since the President appointed Special Advisers and Personal assistants for her office.
Mrs Buhari further thanked all Nigerians for their support and encouragement adding that she was ready to continue her work with women and children.
Present at the airport to meet her were the First lady of Kogi state, Mrs Rasheedat Bello, Wife of former Governor of Nassarawa state, Mrs Mairo Al Makura, Chairperson of National Centre for Women Development Joy Gene Nunieh, wife of Minister for Niger Delta Affairs Mrs Ekaetae Unoma Godswill Akpabio, D.G. Women's development centre, Mrs Mary Etta, and Senior Special Assistant office of the wife of the President, Dr Hajo Sani.
