Bayelsa unveils employment website
Following its intention to employ 1000 graduates into the state civil service scheme, the Bayelsa state government have unveiled the state official website to ensure transparency in the activities of government and other agencies.
This is coming after several complaints of alleged sharp practices by the government in the recruitment of workers in the state.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at the state Civil Service Commission headquarters in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa deputy governor Rear Admiral John Jonah (retired) said the state activities will be well managed.
Also speaking, the Chairman Bayelsa civil service and the commissioner for information and orientation assured Bayelsans of the website gains.
The high point of the occasion was the unveiling of the website by the deputy governor with assistance from the information commissioner and head of service.
