Ekiti elders seek end to traditional ruler's crisis
The Ekiti state council of elders has appealed to traditional rulers in the state to exercise caution in the lingering leadership tussle of the Ekiti State Council of traditional rulers.
The elders also appealed to journalists not to blow the issue out of proportion as efforts are in top gear to find an amicable solution.
This was disclosed to newsmen on Thursday in Ado Ekiti by the president of Ekiti council of elders, Prof Joseph Oluwasanmi while addressing journalists.
The elder's council also said both factions have arrived at a situation where they are willing to dialogue.
While assuring residents that both Government and royal fathers will sit down and solve that impasse, the senior citizens also appeal to royal fathers in the state to continue to display maturity and purposeful leadership.
