The governor made the remarks when he inaugurated members of the state task force on food security at the government house in Port Harcourt the state capital.

 

According to the governor, the state government is ready to support the task force, as he gave them the mandate of ensuring food sufficiency in Rivers state.

 

Responding on behalf of the committee, the chairman Mr. Oliver Biedima assured the governor that the mandate will be achieved in putting food on the table of Rivers people.
