Imo state Governor Hope Uzodimma has presented the sum of N346.9Billion Naira as the budget for 2021 fiscal year.

Presenting the budget on the floor of the state's assembly governor Hope Uzodimma said the budget is geared at wealth creation.

According to him the negative effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic on businesses and the nation's economy at large is what informed the decision of his administration to come up with a solution driving budget.

Narrating his commitment towards the economical growth of the state, governor Uzodinma maintained that the budget, if given speedy passage will go a long way to herald the needed support for onward movement towards a new Imo.

Reacting to the presented budget, majority leader of the house commended the government for coming up with a working document that will help the state return to her glory days.
