Ihedioha to provide jobs for South African returnees
The senior special assistant to governor Emeka Ihedioha on information and advocacy Hon. Adaora Onyechere has further reiterated the decision of the state government to assist all Imo indigenes among the returnees from South Africa.
Adaora who regretted the sad event of the xenophobic attack said thorough verification will be conducted to ensure that persons in question are truly indigenes of the state before they before taking part in the reasonable assistance the governor plans to give to all of them.
Highlighting some of the assistance the government plans to render them she said skilled ones among them will be engaged in their various fields of speciality by the state government.
Correspondent Ajibade Awofeso reports that verification and official presentation is slated for Wednesday.
The exercise is expected to pave way for one on one interaction between the governor, top government officials and the returnees.
