Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST), Makurdi, has gotten a new Rector.

He is Major - General Adebukola Oguntola who assumed duty as the 10th Rector after taking over Command of the college from Major General Umar Nasir Babangida, who was posted to Nigerian Army College of Education, (NACOE), Ilorin, Kawara State.

During the handing and taking over ceremony held at the Headquarters NACEST, Major - General Oguntola thanked the Chief of Army Staff for the rare privilege afforded him to serve in this capacity, describing his appointment as home coming and Urged officers’ and Management Staff of the Institution to be professional.

While thanking the outgoing Rector for the role he played in moving the College to enviable heights, pledged to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor.

The outgoing Rector Major General Babangida, thanked God Almighty and appreciated the COAS Lieutenant General Taofeek Lagbaja for granting him the opportunity to have served in the capacity as Rector, Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST), just as he expressed his gratitude to officers’ and staff for their support and loyalty during his tour of duty.

Highlights of the event was signing of handing and taking over note, guided tour of the College and handing over the command flag.
