Oyo state government has issued a stern warning to commercial motorcyclists across the state to desist from the act of recklessness but should operate in compliance with the law.

Addressing leaders and members of Amalgamated Commercial Autocycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan charged members of the Association to adhere to the policy of one rider and one passenger in order to prevent loss of lives and properties in the state.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Engr. Olaniyan says the directive is not only for the benefit and safety of the passengers but also the riders while the Chairman of the Association, Saheed Folahanmi disclosed members of the Association are ready to abide with the directive but pleaded for more time for sensitization of members across the state.
