Police Parade Suspected Killers of a Colonel, Parade other Suspects
Officers of the Oyo State Police Command have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of Colonel Victor Abayomi.
Not only this, four suspects were equally arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a local government chairman along Iganna/Awaye road.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Ngozi Onadeko who paraded the suspects along with others before Journalists at the Command headquarters in Eleyele said Colonel Abayomi was kidnapped by some unknown men before his lifeless body was discovered within his premises.
She disclosed that the arrest of a suspect with the mobile phone of the deceased led to the arrest of the principal suspects.
Furthermore, the Commissioner of police equally paraded four suspects in connection with the kidnapping of a Local Government Chairman, Hon. Adeleke Olayiwola along Iganna/ Awaye road.
Also, a pastor of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Jimi Odunayo and one Remix Oladiti, Aged 56, were arrested for defiling a 13 year and 14-year-old teenage girl respectively.
Eight other suspects were nabbed in connection with the crisis in Odeyale area of Ibadan where some personnel of Amotekun and police officers were hacked by the hoodlums.
The Commissioner of Police also announced the arrest of one suspect in connection with arson and looting of Iseyin Divisional Police Headquarters.
