Forty-nine years old Mr Saturday Ughega who was reported to have been shot at Ughelli community in Delta state by armed robbers who took away his commercial motorcycle has attributed his survival to the will of God.

Saturday, who spent over a week at the Ughelli central hospital before he was discharged, narrated to our correspondent how he was stopped by two men who pretended to be passengers before he was shot in his neck.

He blamed his attack on the current state of insecurity in Ughelli, as he expressed displeasure over losing his only means of livelihood.

Cases of attacks on commercial motorcyclists have been on the increase in the Delta community as the police seem helpless in curbing crime in the community.
