APC meets to amend party constitution
Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says the party will conclude all pending controversial issues at its Monday’s national executive council meeting.
Chairman of the party John Odigie Oyegun made gave the assurance after a late night caucus meeting of the party held at the presidential villa Abuja, Monday.
Chief Oyegun dismissed any kind of misunderstanding in the party saying they have to move the party forward for good.
The APC chairman said true federalism among other issues will top agenda of the meeting.
On the call for his removal, the former governor of Edo state said such agitation is history.
Other members of the caucus described the late-night meeting as a good one saying it was to set agenda for today’s NEC meeting.
Senate president Bukola Saraki and the governor of Katsina state, Aminu Masari said issues of the party constitutional ammendment topped discussion at the well-attended meeting.
Caucus members from across the six geopolitical zones, attended the meeting.
