Some political leaders in Kogi state have issued 4-week ultimatum to Governor Yahaya Bello to conclude staff audit in the state or face public protest against his alleged misrule in the state.

This ultimatum was made by Dino Melaye,  Senator representing Kogi West in the Senate, in company of some APC political leaders in the state in Abuja.

Senator Melaye while briefing journalists alleged that the Governor has mismanaged over N220 billion in his one year in office.

Melaye said that the Governor has brought untold hardship on the people of Kogi state and does not deserve people support.
