PDP charges INEC to produce court order
The Governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the just-concluded Bayelsa Governorship election Senator Douye Diri has charged the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) to come up with the stay of execution order the APC said it obtained from an Abuja high court a day before the November 16th Governorship election.
He gave the charge while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the just concluded election which he claimed his party won.
Addressing journalists, the PDP candidate said the APC had no business in contesting the elections as a result of the earlier decision of the Federal High Court.
He urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare him the winner as he read out what he described as the authentic results.
Recall that the Federal High court in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital had last Thursday ruled that the APC has no candidate as a result of their primaries which it said did not follow due process.
