Nigeria’s future bright as more children embrace science - minister
Nigeria’s Science and Technology Minister, Ogbonnaya Onu, says the future of the country looks very bright as more children increasingly embrace science education.
Galaxy’s Godfrey Eshiemoghie reports that Mr. Onu made this statement on Thursday while receiving members of the Nigerian delegation scheduled to compete at the International Junior Science Olympiad to be held in Qatar early December this year.
The Science and Technology Minister who was in company of the Minister of State for Science and Technology Mohammed Abdullahi expressed confidence that Team Nigeria will be outstanding at the Olympiad.
Six students are to represent Team Nigeria at the Olympiad.
Indonesia in 2004 played host to the maiden edition of the International Junior Science Olympiad.
