The Abuja Nnamdi Azikwe international airport has suspended all flight activities by shutting down its runway after an Air Cargo Plane, Allied air with registration number 5N-JRT Crash-Landed on Wednesday.

The aircraft had reportedly experienced a tyre burst and failure of one of its landing gears after it landed. For now, aircraft are only allowed to take-off to various destinations while those arriving the airport are asked not to land.

Disaster averted as airplane✈ broke down on the Abuja runway, forcing Aero Contractors and other airlines to turn back after circling the airport for hours.
