Oyo CP assures robust security
The commissioner of Police in Oyo state, Abiodun Odude has assured residents of the state of robust security before, during and after the yuletide.
Speaking in Ibadan during the end of the year programme organised by the Egbeda division of the Police Community Relations Committee, Odude who was represented by the public relations officers of the command, Adekunle Ajisebute maintained that the command has ably restored peace and stability in all nooks and crannies of the state.
The commissioner of police also attributed the peace being enjoyed in the state to cordial relationship between the police and members of the public.
He appealed to the reseidents to continue to support the command for continous peace and unity in the star residents
Chairman of the police community relations committee, Egbeda divsion, Moses Adisa promised that the body would continue to recognised officers and members of the public for excellent service to mankind and provide moral support for the police for the security of lives and property in the state.
The event also witnessed the presentation of awards to the commissioner of police Abiodun Odude and other deserving officers of the command.
