The chief of staff to the president Prof Ibrahim Gambari has restated the commitment of President Mohammadu Buhari led administration to complete the Abuja Kano expressway in record time.

He stated this during a town hall meeting held in Kaduna over the rehabilitation Of Abuja- Kaduna- Zaria- Kano dual carriageway.

Prof Ibrahim Gambari who represented President Mohammadu added that due to the quality of the road construction it has led to the delay people Nigerians plying the road but promised it will be constructed in good time.

While the governor of Kano state Abdullahi Ganduje and the minister of works Babatunde Fashiola both pleaded and explain the challenges faced by Julius Berger who are the people handling the road construction.

Some members of the national and state assembly including the minister of finance and other representatives of the people didn't hide their displeasure over the delay being experienced in the construction of the road.
