Flood ravages communities in Ondo
Several communities in Ese Odo local government area of Ondo state have been submerged by flood, while thousands of residents have been rendered homeless in several communities.
Some of the communities include Igbotu, the hometown of the mother of Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, the Chairman of Eseodo Local Government, Mr Omolewa Ojo and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr Jimi Kufo.
Over ten communities in the local government area, including Igbekebo the local government headquarters, have been taken over by heavy flood which prevented people from going to their place of abode.
It will be recalled that areas that are not in the riverine region have suffered heavy flooding in the state this year which have claimed some innocent lives.
