Governor, Hyacinth Alia of Benue state has signed the 2024 finance and appropriation bills into law after their passage by the State House of Assembly.

Governor Alia who spoke shortly after signing the budget at government house, Makurdi, said the implementation of 2024 budget will address the focal points of infrastructural development, create jobs, and poverty alleviation.

Governor Hyacinth Alia had presented his budget for the 2024 fiscal year to the Benue state House of Assembly on 8th of December, stating that the budget has an aggregated financing to the sum of 225.7 Billion naira.

While appreciating the legislators for their tireless efforts at ensuring the Budget is passed into law, he called for the support of all Benue people to build a future that is characterized by prosperity, inclusivity, and shared success.
