IGP Advocates Love, Tolerance For Peaceful New Year.
As we welcome the dawn of a new year, the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, sued for tolerance and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, irrespective of their religious and ethnic affiliations.
Egbetokun in a statement issued and signed by the Force Public Relations, Muyiwa Adejobi, on behalf of the Officers of the Nigeria Police Force extended warm wishes to all Nigerians.
In the spirit of unity and progress, the IGP called on citizens to embrace love and tolerance as pillars for fostering peace across the nation.
The IGP emphasized the importance of collective efforts in building a harmonious society, urging communities to strengthen the bonds that unite them and foster understanding among diverse groups.
He further charged Nigerians to embrace love and tolerance noting that citizens could overcome differences and work together towards a safer and more prosperous Nigeria.
The IGP reiterated that the Nigeria Police remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens while encouraging the public to collaborate with the Police and other security and law enforcement agencies by reporting any suspicious activities that may threaten the peace and well-being of our communities.
He enjoined Nigerians to embark on a journey of compassion, understanding, and cooperation for national growth and development.
