Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has approved the thirteenth month pay for the state pensioners, just as he did for civil servants in the state.

The governor made this known during an interactive section with the pensioners after the capturing exercise for the health insurance scheme.
Addressing the pensioners, governor Obaseki said the major challenges faced by pensioners has to do with their health, hence the inclusion in the health care service.
