Governor Obaseki inaugurates Emergency Medical Services
Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has inaugurated four ambulance services to commence the first phase of the state Emergency Medical Services.
The Emergency Medical Services according to the governor will be linked to the former inspector general of police Solomon Arase control center, to enable residents get medical services within a space of ten minutes.
Addressing the two hundred personnel's and volunteer's at the medical academy, governor Obaseki said it is an innovative that has been launched in Nigeria's health care system.
Also speaking, the chief medical director of the university of Benin teaching hospital and the representative of partner emergency response Africa, stressed on the initiative by the governor in providing emergency healthcare to the people of Edo state.
