Hard drugs among youths - clergy blame joblessness

The increase in hard drugs-related cases among youths in Delta state and Nigeria, in general, have been attributed to joblessness and low self-esteem among youths.
This was the findings when our correspondent Dele Fasan spoke with some clergies in Warri on the recent invasion of hide-outs of drug peddlers, which led to the arrests of eight suspects.
Speaking on the involvement of youths, the clergies and a youth leader spelt out different causes of youth’s involvement in drugs.
In the same vein, the Delta state government have promised to intensify the raid on drug peddlers hide-outs across the twenty-five local government areas as it is yielding the desired results.
