The House of Representatives has postponed plenary till Wednesday the 4th of December as it mourns a serving lawmaker, representing Magama/Rijau Federal Constituency of Niger State,  Ja'afaru Iliyasu.

Late Honourable Iliyasu, passed on in Abuja, Monday. It is the tradition of the House to suspend plenary whenever a serving member passes on with a minute silence observed in his honour.

Lawmakers who spoke after the signing of condolence register opened to mourn the late lawmaker said he will be greatly missed.

The green chamber condoles with his immediate family, constituents, the people and government of Niger State.
