Over twenty-eight violators of the Delta state partial lockdown have been prosecuted by the prosecuting judge at the Warri magistrate court one.

The defaulters who were arrested across the Warri metropolis and environs by the police were taken to the court where they were fined for various offences including driving commercial tricycles without following laid down rules. 

Speaking before delivering judgment on the lock-down violators, the judge and the council chairman blame defaulters for defying government order.

The defaulters were later fined the sum of N500 and N1000 respectively, depending on the gravity of their offence.
