The Ogun state command of The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has called on religious leaders to effectively play their roles towards the actualization of a better society.

The Commandant of the Corps, Hammed Abodunrin made this known at the launch of a mosque project at the command's permanent site in Kobape, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

The commandant noted the roles expected of the religious leaders should be in form of modelling the people right from their foundation so that they grow up to be responsible citizens.

He further explained that few who are still doing things that the society doesn't like, the religious leaders should also have a way of talking to people, preaching to them about what is right and wrong.
