Northern governors’ forum visits southeast
Following the ongoing crisis rocking the southeastern part of Nigeria, a delegation of northern governors has paid a visit to the zone in a bid to dialogue for peace.
The team led by the chairman, northern governors forum, Kachim Shittima of Borno state while interacting with stakeholders at the exco chambers in the government house in Imo state, said their visit is to enhance cohesion and togetherness toward national development.
In his responds, governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state thanked his counterpart from the north for their solidarity visit.
He also used the occasion to sue for national unity, while calling on all Nigerians to preach peace and tolerance.
As at the moment it will be recalled that no one can categorically reveal the where about of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu who is widely believed to have been the cause of the said fracas due to his resilient agitation for sovereign state of Biafra.
Kanu was said to have vanished into the thin air after a clash with the groupand the Nigerian military.
