Ogun Partners British Govt On $5M E- Waste Recycling Company
A five million dollar e- waste battery recycling company is to be set up in Ogun State by investors in conjunction with the British government
The British High Commissioner in Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, disclosed this when he led some officials of the Commission on a courtesy call on the State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
When operational, the e- waste recycling company is expected to bring new Technology,create employment opportunities for the teaming population of youths and best in Africa.
The governor assured them of investments favourable policies and programme, adequate security of investments
Done with the meeting, the high commissioner moved to the Olusegun Osoba press centre for a joint press conference attended by the state commissioners of environment, industry, trade and investments and the special Adviser on Ogun invest where the $5m e- waste recycling company was extensively discussed
And as a signatory to the circular economy and environmental sustainability governance ,the state has promised necessary environmental Regulatory framework to ensure security of the people
