Ondo first lady leads breast cancer awareness
The wife of the governor of Ondo state, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu has charged women to be conscious of the health condition of their breast to avert falling victim for breast cancer.
Ondo state the first lady made this charge during the jog for life programme marking this year breast cancer day in Akure the state capital.

The jog for life which went through Arakale down to Isinkan and terminated at the democracy park attracted different classes of women including students creating awareness on the need to seek for medical attention whenever there's an indication that something is wrong with the breast.
Betty Akeredolu also solicited for individual and corporate body financial support for control and treatment of breast cancer in Nigeria saying treatment for breast cancer is expensive and the people with cancer should not be neglected to die.
Speaking on behalf of survivors of breast cancer at the jog for life, the coordinator, Fumilayo Oluwagbamila said people should stop attaching spiritual coronations to breast cancer and come out in the open to get medical help and stay alive
