The police in Bayelsa says it,s SWAT team operatives have arrested a 50-year-old Joseph Godfrey for luring unsuspected female job seekers to a hotel and sexually assault them.

 

Spokesperson of the command Asinim Butswat made this known in a statement made available to Galaxy TV news, saying the suspect usually disguised as a staff of the Bayelsa government house Yenagoa, with the promise of job opportunity and employment .

 

According to the police, the suspect ran out of luck when one of the girls raised the alarm on October 10th about 1pm, as the suspect was arrested at Opolo community in Yenagoa the state capital.

 

The suspect is said to be under interrogation by police operatives as investigation is ongoing.
