Police nab Libya deportees over alleged robbery
Operatives of the Edo state Police command have arrested a 30yr-old Libya deportee and two others for allegedly robbing a 97-yr-old Woman in Benin, the state capital.
The three suspects were said to have committed the crime late last year following the report of terrorising Idunmwun Itutu, in Igueben local government area of the state.
The suspects were among the 60 paraded by the state commissioner of police, Johnson Kokumo, saying they all would be charged to court.
Narrating the ordeal, Marolen Ajibola who spoke on behalf of her aged mother, madam Imazagbonre Enahoro said it was hell to face the suspected culprits.
In a related development, a youth corps member who was on her way from Ikpoba hill, to ring road on the 2nd of December who was also attacked narrates her ordeal in the hands of some unidentified robbers in the area.
