Police parade 31 suspects for crimes in Oyo
The Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Ngozi Onadeko has paraded 31 suspects arrested for criminal acts including a member of the gang that robbed staff of a Private Radio Station in Ibadan.
Onadeko says the feat was made possible following useful intelligent information from some members of the public.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that a among the suspect paraded was a member of the gang that robbed a radio station in Ibadan.
The gang according to Onadeko, an Assistant Inspector General of Police, specialised in robbing hotels, hospitals and other public places.
Also paraded was Alfa Tiamiyu, a suspected murderer of a 25-year-old lady, whose body parts were found dismembered. The recovered body parts included the head, two big toes, hands and flesh from the thighs.
Some of the suspects spoke about their involvement in the criminal acts.
The police boss said all other suspects arrested would be charged to court upon the conclusion of the investigation into their cases.
