Former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, on Saturday paid an unscheduled visit to Oyo State Government House, Agodi, Ibadan where he met with Governor Seyi Makinde.

The Meeting which was held closed-door had in attendance, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, other top officers of the state government and leaders of the Tijaniya movement across the South West.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Sanusi had arrived in Ibadan on Friday and met with Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji where issues relating to the Tijanya Movement in the southwest were discussed.

It was gathered that the former Emir of Kano is scheduled to meet with the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi on Saturday on the same issues.

The visit by Sanusi, according to sources, is in his capacity as the new leader of Tijaniya Muslims in the country.
