The Senate President, Senator Godwill Akpabio, gave the assurance during the Inauguration of the Senate Ad-hoc Committee on Ways and Means in Abuja, assured that the National Assembly will continue to uphold the principles of democracy.

 

Galaxy tv reports that the Senate President in his remark said the success of this Ad-Hoc committee hinged on collaboration, cooperation, and a steadfast commitment to the common good adding that they should set aside personal and partisan interests, focusing solely on the task at hand. 

 

He further implored members of the committee to approach the responsibilities with the utmost sense of patriotism, professionalism and integrity adding that, they should engage with relevant stakeholders, experts, and organizations.
