The accident which happened at Abuduka Area of Surulere North Local Council Development Area of Oyo State occurred around 10 am.

 

It was gathered that the truck, lost its brake and rammed into the bus. It was gathered that the truck was going through the hill but suddenly lost its break in the process and rammed into the passenger bus behind it.

 

Eyewitness account has it that the commercial bus with registration number ABJ 14XN was heading towards Ilorin before the accident occurred.

 

Our Correspondent learnt that all passengers in the commercial bus lost their lives in the accident. As at the time of this report, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps are yet to arrive at the scene for rescue operations while sympathizers were seen carrying the remains of the victims from the highway.

 

A National identity card of one of the victims and other personal effects belonging to those that died in the crash littered the highway.
