APM to appeal Ogun governorship tribunal Judgement
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ogun state has revealed that it will appeal the judgement of the Ogun state Governorship Election Petition Tribunal presided over by Justice Yusuf Halilu’s panel alleging that the judgement was a miscarriage.
The party made its decision to appeal the judgement known at a Press conference held at the party’s secretariat in Abeokuta, the state capital
Speaking on behalf of the party, Ogun State APM Acting Publicity Secretary, Olumide Balogun indicted Justice Halilu; rendering his claim of having a first-time knowledge of the case at the state tribunal as false.
The APM claimed that Justice Halilu has earlier ruled in Favour of the second respondent and Governor of the state, Dapo Abiodun in a related matter filed against him at the federal high court in Abuja.
The party also added that Abiodun has once written to the registrar of the High court No 26 at the federal capital territory, a court where Justice Halilu is the judge.
