The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Lanre Issa-Onilu has debunked rumours making rounds across the country about purported plans by some of the party chieftains to contest in the 2023 presidential elections.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, Thursday, Mr Issa-Onilu urged Nigerians to disregard all posts, messages and posters, spreading such rumours stressing that the key focus of the party, after its victory both at the presidential elections as well as the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, is to deliver on its promises to Nigerians.

The NPS further cleared the air on the alleged rift between the president and his vice.

Mr. Issa-Onilu, however, called on all Nigerians to be wary as well as verify information sources in order not to fall to antics of those whom he called enemies of the state.
