The Tuesday plenary witnessed series of drama, as there were many revelations among senators, which bothered on partiality in the disbursement of constituency fund, among others by the leadership of the house.

 

GALAXYTV reports that the development led to a rowdy session which disrupted the plenary for about 20 minutes.

 

A cross section of Senators, who spoke before and after the rowdy session, condemned the action of Senate Ningi saying,.it was unpaliamentary and a serious dent on the image of the senate.

 

The Senate thereafter returned to the prayers put forward by the mover of the motion, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, which recommended a one year suspension for Senator Ningi.

 

After its deliberation and the need to allow reasons prevail, the Senate agreed to suspend Senator Ningi for three months, during which he will not be allowed to participate in the activities of the Senate.
