The Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has dissolved all Special advisers, Senior special assistants, and Special assistants. 

Addressing journalists on the development, the Commissioner for information Honourable Declan Emelumba, says the dissolution is the outcome of the recommendation by a commission earlier set up by the Governor to carry out a performance appraisal of the duties of all SAs and SSAs. 

He says the report also recommended that there’s a need to rejig the appointments for optimal service.

The dissolution is coming less than three weeks after the Governor dissolved the state executive council retaining just 8 commissioners out of 28.
