INEC takes delivery of sensitive materials

Barely 24 hours to the Ekiti governorship elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has taken delivery of the sensitive materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN).


The exercise which commenced at 11am witnessed heavy security presence inside and outside the Central Bank premises in Ado-Ekiti to forestall any breakdown of law and order.

 Fielding questions from newsmen after leading party agents to inspect the sensitive materials meant for the 16 local government, the INEC  Resident Electoral Commissioner 9REC) for Ekiti state, Prof.  Abdulganiy  Raji spoke on the delivery.

 The agents of the PDP and the APC spoke on the transparent inspection as the INEC commissioner calls for the cooperation of all Ekiti citizens.

 The inspection of the sensitive materials was witnessed by the 35 party agents in the state amid heavy security presence, while the materials will be conveyed to the 16 local government areas of the state according to INEC.
