It is understood that a fresh resolution may have been reached which comes with an ultimatum to clear the three months’ salaries before next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.
As also gathered, the federation has called on Rohr to be patient, that his unpaid salaries will be sorted before the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon fixed for September 1st.The Eagles will welcome the Indomitable Lions to Uyo on the first day of next month with a return game on the 4th of the same month in Yaounde.
The German coach is on 50,000 Euros a month salary. He signed a two-year contract with the NFF in July 2016.National team coaches are known to be owed for several months by the NFF, who blame poor finances for this breach of contract. However, the NFF signed a 2.5 billion Naira sponsorship deal with oil company Aiteo in April that was to ensure prompt and regular payments of the salaries of the various national teams.
