Delta doctors harp on reducing child mortality
Doctors from the twenty-five local government areas of Delta state have come together under one roof to deliberate on the need to reduce maternal and child mortality in the state.
This is in line with the 2019 maternal and health week which is aimed towards educating women and health officers on the best practices.
Speaking on this year’s maternal health week, the permanent secretary Delta ministry of health and the immediate past commissioner for health said there is a need to recognize the importance of life.
A Documentary on the need for mothers to care for their unborn child was played to the listening pleasure of mothers in attendance.
