NDLEA seizes 14,000 kg of illegal drugs
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ondo State Command, has seized about 14,247.61 kg of various psychotropic substances in six months.
State commander of the NDLEA, Haruna Gagara revealed this at a press conference to mark the occasion of the United Nations Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
Every June 26 is set aside to mark the United Nations Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and The theme for this year's celebration is: "Listen First-Listening to children and youth in the first step to help them grow healthy and safe."
Gagara also lamentend at the emergence of a new unconventional drug abuse called, 'SKUCHIES' in Ondo State,especially in Akure.
