Two separate two-storey buildings consisting of self-contain flats on their first and second floors, with rented shops on the ground floors used for sale of cars spare parts engulfed by fire at no. 6 and 7, foresight street, lafiaji Lagos Island 

Before the fire at number 6 could be extinguished, it swiftly escalated to the adjoining 2-storey building and was completely extinguished by the emergency responders present at the incident scene. 

Investigations conducted by the at the incident scene could not ascertain the immediate cause of the fire. No casualties were recorded at the incident scene and no injuries sustained due to the incident.

Some part of self-contained flats on the top floor of the 2-storey building at number 6, Foresight Street were badly affected with Windows of some units of self-contain flats at number 7, Foresight Street where the fire escalated to before being extinguished, suffered damages.
