Gunmen invaded the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre Zaria Kaduna state, abducting an infant of about 7 months old and 8 others.

Our correspondent gathered that the operation lasted for hours and the gunmen also attacked a Police Divisional Headquarters close to the medical centre.

An eyewitness who spoke to our correspondent, Bosan Yakusak revealed that the kidnapping took place at the staff quarters and those kidnapped include three males and five females.

Narrating their ordeal Paul Amodu and Denis Julius explained that the gunmen stormed the Saye village in large numbers blocking the bridge leading to the Leprosy Medical Centre while some invaded the centre and others attacked the police divisional headquarters simultaneously.
