NANS calls for reduction of tuition in Ondo
The leadership of the National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS has called for a reduction of tuitions of the three state's owned universities in Ondo state.
Speaking with Galaxy news correspondent Lebi Joseph, the chairman NANS JCC Ondo axis, Comrade Akinteye Babatunde said the recent slash in the tuition of Rufus Giwa polytechnic, Owo by the state government is a welcome development.
Comrade Babatunde said there's a need to review tuitions of other tertiary institutions in the state for equity and fairness because many students are currently finding it hard to pay.
Meanwhile, comrade Akinteye declared that student union leaders in Ondo state is ready to work in hand with the government to be able to change the situation around the education sector in the state for good.
